Compatible with plastics and elastomers, PTFE thickeners offer good thermal stability, shear stability, water resistance, and lubricity. Grade 2 is a fairly standard grease, with a consistency similar to peanut butter. Use it in normal bearing applications. The penetration range at 77°F (25°C) is 265 to 295.
